Governor's Inn
Work consisted of a 107 room hotel with an exterior drive through canopy and an outdoor swimming pool. Usable area included 68,050 square feet of rental units, administrative and maintenance areas, conference rooms, dining area, and kitchen. The five-story structure was constructed on conventional concrete foundations with cast-in-place concrete slabs, load bearing masonry walls, and a wood roof truss system. The building exterior was finished with long lasting cement siding planks and panels; asphalt shingles were used as the preferred roofing material. Due to the topography of the site, extensive use of the cast-in-place concrete retaining walls and "Keystone" masonry retaining walls were utilized.
