NASCAR Café

The NASCAR Café in Sevierville, Tennessee was a unique project for Rouse Construction but we were up for the challenge. The 19,000 square foot NASCAR theme restaurant is styled after nearby Bristol International Speedway. Inside, surrounding the main dining area, we constructed an actual 36° degree banked track featuring Winston Cup cars in a close race. Other special features include exposed exterior steel framing with flags representing the race fans approach to the grandstand, a seperate "garage" dining area and a NASCAR themed arcade with a gift shop. The NASCAR Café is constructed from a steel frame with masonry, EIFS and glass curtain wall skin. To reflect the oval shape of the race, we laid out the steel-framing members in a radial pattern. The versatility of Rouse Construction was shown in the complex layout, fabrication and erection of this distinctive structure. We also showed our efficiency when NASCAR Café owners informed us that this project was the first NASCAR Café to be constructed on time!
