Niswonger Performing Arts Center
This "State-of-the-Art" performing arts center serves as the venue for the high school's stage productions, professional performances, and other local community events. The 39,263 square foot, two-story structural steel framed with brick and limestone veneer building includes a 1,200-seat auditorium with balcony, orchestra pit with a motorized lift, a full working stage and fly tower, professional grade lighting and sound systems, and theatrical areas – dressing rooms, rehearsal offices, choral offices, equipment and scene preparation rooms, and a green room. The interior finishes included extensive use of granite flooring at the lobby area and grand stair, and imported Anigre wood trim and wall paneling in the lobby and auditorium areas.
