Rouse Construction Company successfully completed the new 100,000+ square foot Polk County High School on time within a fifteen-month construction program. Classrooms, offices, rest rooms, cafeteria, and a gymnasium provide students an excellent educational facility. The project included complete exterior and interior finishes, all band, library, and laboratory casework and furniture, bleachers, trophy and display cases, and kitchen equipment. Extensive site development included grading for athletic facilities, eight acres of seeding, and 34,000 square feet of concrete sidewalks. Building foundations and wall contained over 3,000 cubic yards of concrete, 185,000 face brick, and 165,000 concrete and glazed masonry units. |
