Tusculum College - Tate Library

This three-story 42,403 square foot steel framed project consisted of renovating a 1910 historical building and constructing an addition around and on top of the existing library. The scope of work required that the existing library's structural integrity be maintained during the entire construction operation. This updated facility provides Tusculum College students and faculty with a modern library, classrooms, and offices while adhering to the architectural aesthetics of the campus. Special features include poured in place concrete arches with hand made custom brick, extensive custom casework and woodwork, a grand stair case and foyers accented with slate, custom lighting fixtures, a clock tower, and an outdoor terrace.
