The project consisted of two new buildings to accommodate classrooms, laboratories, and offices during the renovation of the historic Hesler Biology Building. The Neyland Drive site is a 17,263 square foot pre-engineered building with metal roof and wall panels. The White Avenue site is a 20,728 square foot pre-engineered building with metal roof panels and a face brick veneer. A key feature at the White Avenue building is a 1,800 square foot greenhouse. The new facilities were furnished with existing casework that had to be disassembled from the current Hesler Biology Building, relocated, and reassembled into the two new buildings.
