This project was the initial building for the new campus of the Sevier County Center Development of Walters State Community College. The two-story 41,750 square foot structure contains classrooms, science laboratories, music, culinary arts, and library facilities. The roof consists of wood trusses creating an 8/12 pitch with dimensional shingle roofing. Special features include large exterior circular columns and roof cupola. Concrete foundations and structural steel framework make up the structural system. Exterior walls are steel stud with brick veneer and pre-cast concrete bands and trim.
